Whip up a batch of homemade naan to serve alongside your favorite vegan dahl or curry!

INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING NAAN: – Bread flour – Soy milk – Apple cider vinegar – Vegetable oil – Salt – Dry yeast

STEP 1: 

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy milk and apple cider vinegar.  Let this sit for 5 minutes until it curdles. 

STEP 2: 

Combine the dry ingredients with the oil and soy milk mixture.  Knead until a dough forms, then cover and let rest for 1 hour. 

STEP 3: 

Divide the dough into 6 to 8 pieces.  Roll each of these pieces out so they are around 6" in length and 5" wide. 

STEP 4: 

Cook the naan as directed in a hot pan until browned and cooked through.  Be careful not to burn. 

Brush the tops of the naan with melted vegan butter then sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs, chili powder, and garlic.
