Macerated Strawberries Recipe

I love this Macerated Strawberries Recipe, made with balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, zest and maple syrup. It's a quick, simple and delicious strawberry sauce, you might never go back to a regular strawberry again, mmmwahahaha.

How to make  Macerated Strawberries

Clean, trim and slice your strawberries, add them to a large glass bowl, then add the balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, zest, and maple syrup. Give all the ingredients a stir.

Now let the strawberries sit for 20-30 minutes, or longer. The Strawberries will release their juices and become even tastier, if that's possible!

I make this recipe all the time to go with my Everyday Waffle Recipe. I just make the Strawberries up first and then start on my Waffle Recipe. The Strawberries are good to go by the time the waffles are ready. Win Win!
