No Cook Pizza Sauce

Description

Skip the jarred sauce for this No Cook Pizza Sauce instead! There’s no cooking or sauteeing involved here. Instead, the easy ingredients are simply stirred together, then ready to be enjoyed on a homemade pizza.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1- 14 oz (400ml) can of tomato sauce, works out to 1 and 3/4 cups
  • 1/3 cup tomato paste 

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon or so garlic salt (not powder)

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon or so ground fennel (optional but so tasty!!)

  • 2 teaspoons sugar (optional)


Instructions

  1. Use right away or store it for later: Either spread the sauce on your pizza dough right away or keep it in a container in the fridge or freezer to use later on.

Notes

  • Make ahead and store: Stir the sauce together up to 1 week ahead of use and keep it in the fridge. (thickens more in fridge)
  • To freeze: Pour sauce into an ice cube tray and pop in the freezer. When frozen transfer to an airtight container or ziplock bag. Freeze for up to 3 months.
