Optional add ins:

  • 1-2 teaspoons hoisin (yummy if you have it)*

  • chopped cilantro

  1. Mix all peanut sauce ingredients in a bowl. Enjoy! Serve room temperature or chilled, that's it!! For extra freshness and zing add a wee drizzle of hoisin, squeeze of lime juice and chopped cilantro. For photos, tips, FAQ, serving suggestions see above post.

  • To store: will keep covered in the fridge for up to a week
  • this recipe is easily doubled
  • If using sweetened peanut butter you may want to use less sugar
  • Peanut sauce could be thicker depending on what peanut butter you use so adjust with a little more coconut milk if needed and it will also firm up in fridge so let come to room temp if you like or serve chilled.
  • Make a day or 2 ahead for easy party planning
  • Hoisin sauce is typically not gluten free so check label. Here is link to gluten free hoisin sauce
