Description

I love this Macerated Strawberries Recipe, made with balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, zest and maple syrup. It’s a quick, simple and delicious strawberry sauce, you might never go back to a regular strawberry again, mmmwahahaha.

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries ( 454 grams)
  • 12 tbsp Maple syrup (I like 2 tbsp)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp Balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Wash, trim and slice your strawberries, add them to a glass mixing bowl.
  2. Add rest of ingredients, give it a stir
  3. Let sit for 20-30 minutes, strawberries will realize their juices.
  4. Add to your favourite waffles, pancakes , ice cream or desserts
  5. Enjoy!

Notes
