5 Minute Vegan Ranch Dressing! This is the Best Vegan Ranch Dressing and so easy to make at home, with vegan mayonnaise and a few ingredients you have a delicious vegan salad dressing or dip, and it's ready in 5 minutes! It's creamy, tangy, dairy free and egg free!

Only a handful of ingredients for this super simple dressing and tofu and cashews are not one of them. I find I’m partial to vegan mayonnaise (Vegenaise) for this Vegan ranch, as it has that perfect flavour and creamy texture that I was wanting for this classic recipe.

It's a perfect dip for game day on a party platter with veggies or for any celebration or just because! My favourite way to enjoy this dip is with French fries. So GOOD! Super delicious tossed with a crisp salad too!

    Description

5 Minute Vegan Ranch Dressing! This is the Best Vegan Ranch Dressing and so easy to make at home, with vegan mayonnaise and a few ingredients you have a delicious vegan salad dressing or dip, and it's ready in 5 minutes! It's creamy, tangy, dairy free and egg free!

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 1 cup vegan mayonnaise (I use Vegenaise)
    • 2 teaspoons dried dill or 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped dill
    • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt or regular salt
    • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
    • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
    • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

    Instructions

    1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl ( I usually use a soup bowl) and whisk until combined.
    2. Serve right away or let the dressing chill in the fridge for 30 minutes, so the flavours develop even more.
    3. Enjoy as a dip with veggies, potato chips, pizza or French fries ( my favourite?). It is also delicious as a salad dressing, and sandwich spread too!

    Notes

    • if you want it more 'dilly' and more tangy add 1 more tsp dried dill and another tbsp pickle juice!
    • To use this recipe as a salad dressing, I usually add a little plant milk to thin it. Add one tablespoon at a time until your happy with the consistency.
    • I would start with 1/4 teaspoon of seasoning salt or regular salt. Then taste and adjust if necessary.
    • This dressing will keep for up to a week in the fridge.

I’m a truck driver and I can’t find vegan ranch on the road. I really love this recipe and I usually make a bowl and take it with me when I leave home. Problem is it only lasts about a week and I don’t really have a kitchen or storage area to take the ingredients with me to make more on the truck. Do you know if I could freeze this and thaw it as needed?

I cannot begin to describe how much I love this dressing. I thin it out quite a bit with some oat milk to use as a salad dressing....wow, wow, wow. I make this dressing faster than I can eat the pickles in the jar.... I wish they sold just pickle juice. 🙂

I added 3 tbsp vegan sour cream because I had to use a heavier oil-based mayo. Came out amazing!! The pickle juice and cider are genius!

So good! Quick, easy and toddler/child approved! I didn’t have pickles around but I used pickled carrot brine instead and it was fabulous!

HI Mariam I have not subbed anything else before so really cannot say. Pickle juice really makes it! Vinegars are a lot stronger so if you add more start with a teaspoon at a time taste as you go. Enjoy!

I've used this as a base lots of times. Sometimes I use banana brine instead of pickles juice. But normally bread n butter pickle juice and I add 1 tsp golden agave.

I would just like to say I have been cruising through your recipes on this site and find them amazing. I find so few recipes that I can make "as is" and usually have to substitute something. The recipes I am interested in on your site I don't have to do that. Am looking forward to trying them All. Awesome, Awesome job on the recipes. <3

WOW! This was awesome. Added some nutritional yeast flakes, smoked ground chipotle and smoked paprika (for a little extra "pep"). DELICIOUS and quick vegan dip/salad dressing (which non-vegans, as well, can enjoy). Thank you so much!
